PINK-3

"ALMOST ALL WORDS DO HAVE A COLOR AND NOTHING IS MORE PLEASANT THAN TO UTTER A PINK WORD AND SEE SOMEONES EYES LIGHT UP AND KNOW IT IS A PINK WORD FOR HIM OR HER TOO." gladys tabor I worked another one of those long days at work yesterday-14+ hours. So today I am resting. Sunday I went to the farmers market. Summer vegetables are in full force, it is wonderful to fill my bag with tomatoes, basil, squash, figs and peaches-all of my favorites. Still being fascinated with the color pink, the flowers caught my eye. Pink that color that can raise blood pressure yet relax at the same time-such a mystery.

  2. Oo! 14 hours plus! Yuck! How do you do that? Those kind of hours makes me so grumpy. LOL Glad you are enjoying your time off and what a better way to spend it. I see your friend Renee asked about Petaluma...we were there last year, what a darling little town. Beautiful pink my friend! Hope your days are lighter. :-)

  4. Pink is definitely an enigma. I've always liked the fact that when I closed my eyes in the sunlight, I could always see deep shades of pink. Nothing could be more calming and reassuring to me. Great post!

  6. I love pink too and I didn't know that about it raising blood pressure and help one relax at the same time. What a cool thing to know! Coming to visit you is a "happy place" for me, even if it's not all happy all the time. I find your posts so comforting and fresh and real . . . hard to put into words but your blog is always a favorite destination. I especially loved your "falling upward" post below. I may have to borrow that . . . I find it very inspiring. (I'll keep you posted if I do.) And I love seeing your collage work . . . so lovely! I hope you have a fabulous weekend ahead.
