It was a lovely week-end in my neck of the woods. Walking downtown to the annual Peddlers Fair I realized (again) how lucky I am to live where I live. Saturday was a sunny day, a gentle breeze was blowing, the smell of kettle corn was in the air. The sound of music drifted along with bird song as a local band played for the fair. Sunday was the local farmers market, my favorite seller was there and though it is too early for tomatoes I bought a bouquet of sweet peas. Strawberries are in season, they are big, plump and sweet-we are having nothing but shortcake for dinner tonight! Sometimes I wonder if the answers we need are right in front of us and we just can't see them because either we are looking too hard or we are asking the wrong questions. Anyway for right now I'm going to stop worrying about the future and just enjoy today.

Sounds like a good idea to me! Strawberries are in season here too - I made a rhubarb crumble on Sunday and served it with strawberries, after it had cooled...
