Where I spent my 4th of July. On my patio reading, relaxing. Away from the frenzied crowds of parks, beaches, shopping malls and parade grounds. These were my quiet views. Grapes hanging overhead. Reflections of green. A curious dog. The fragile bloom of a passion flower. Simple joys. My life is good.
i LOVE passion flowers! do you get zebra longwing butterflies? we used to have a blue passion vine, and i miss the zebras we used to see flying around it.
What a perfect way to spend the 4th! We did the same - much time on our back porch reading and relaxing, good food, and quiet! Love those photos and I sure miss passion flowers here... Hugs, Silke
I'm still waiting for my passion flowers to bloom. This is the first time I've planted them. Yours are gorgeous! And the grapes look great... Lovely deck for a lovely day...
It makes me happy to read that life is good for you my friend ... Your photographs are so beautiful have you thought of making them into cards and selling them ?
I really loved the photo with the curious dog. Our cat also needs to be in the middle of all the events, and well informed of what's going on. Excellent photos.
I always feel so peaceful when I come to visit your blog. You have such a wonderful calming nature. I also get inspired to relax. However, I fear I'm bit more like Julie in the way my mind works. I'm glad you enjoyed the 4th. Hugs
I live in the Calif. east bay area with my 2 dogs Lily and Penny and and My husband Bruce. When "playing" I journal, do mixed media art and spend weekends on our Airstream "Bambi .
