"LET THE RAIN KISS YOU. LET THE RAIN BEAT UPON YOUR HEAD WITH SILVER LIQUID DROPS. LET THE RAIN SING YOU A LULLABY". langston hughes. An unusual late spring/early summer shower came to visit us this past week. It truly sang me a lullaby all day long, softly watering the garden and plants. Starting with the dusty smell when the earth is first getting that cleansing wash. To ending with a soft lulling to sleep that night. I hope you are all getting ready for a good week-end.
how lovely, an early summer rain is so welcoming, especially in california (at least in our area!).
