The long hot days of summer are finally here. Linen, short sleeves, and flipflops-oh the joy! I spent a pre 4th of July sitting on my deck listening to the occasional errant fire cracker, lawn mowers, birds and the distant sound of blue grass music (my neighbors have a band). Sitting under a grape arbor with gentle breeze blowing, I sipped a cool drink, read a novel and would infrequently pick up my current crochet piece and hook a stitch or two. I plan to repeat this tomorrow. I hope you all have a happy holiday.
Wishing you the same...enjoy, relax and breathe deeply!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a perfect day! I just adore your crocheted jewelry!
ReplyDeleteHappy 4th to you!
Sounds like a perfect way to spend the day. Happy 4th!
ReplyDeleteJust checking on what you're doing.
ReplyDeleteI wish you a picnic basket full of joy on the Fourth.

A Bambi has been in the dreams of our family. Do you have enough room in it? How is your mileage when you're pulling it?
sounds perfect. and a bluegrass band for neighbors? how great is THAT?
ReplyDeleteit does sound perfect, i'm doing almost the exact same thing. i miss the big family gatherings, but this is nice too. enjoy.
ReplyDeleteHi dear,
ReplyDeleteThank you for the Bambi information. We are serious about this.
All joys,
Sharon
This is my first time visiting. Saw you over at "Let a Joy Keep You" and "clicked" and the rest is history. I enjoyed my visit here and see quite a few of the people that I visit daily here too. We only live about 2 hours from each other. I live up by Auburn, probably on the way to one of your adventures in Bambi!
ReplyDeleteWhat a magnificent blue colour. I'm glad that you are feeling creative.
ReplyDeleteBliss indeed. We have those days rarely, and certainly no Bluegrass! I would love that.
