It is a beautiful spring day here in the Lilylovekin home. The sun is shinning and it is a warm sun, there is no wind and the air is full of bird song. I am celebrating because my test is over and as you all told me I passed. The release of the stress has left me drowsy and relaxed. Also the time change took away an hour of sleep. When I got home from my test I went for a walk around the neighborhood admiring the many gardens all coming to life. Tulips are such a bright and happy flower I love them, they remind me of home. I grew up near Holland Michigan where every year they have a huge tulip festival. I have a few bulbs in my yard and am amazed every year when they poke their heads up and return to visit me. Today is a day for celebration.
Congratulations!! I knew you'd pass! I love tulips! I grew up near Holland and we'd often take a dive across the border to see the tulip fields. And if I ever flew into Amsterdam around tulip time, seeing the fields from the air was breathtaking.
When Daniel and I lived in Battle Creek, MI, we'd always drive up to Holland, MI to admire the tulips when they were blooming. A small reminder of home...
YEAH! I knew you could do it! Oh thank you for bringing a little spring into my life. Pouring rains and high winds yesterday, gray skies and showers today. Those tulips are so lovely. One of my favorite flowers, which unfortunately we can't grow because the rabbits and deer nip their sweet buds off every spring (we finally gave up). I'm enjoying my tulips through you Lorrie!
Thanks for sharing the tulip photos - I'm beginning to feel as though I live in Narnia - before the return of the lion... it is snowing - again!!! So I will just enjoy your signs of spring. Congrats on passing your test - you knew you could do it!
I love tulips too, you just cant beat them and they become more and more beatiful as they grow in your vase twisting and turning into another one of mother natures works of art. Congratulations on passing your test. Love H
