A new camera has arrived in our house. I had a point and shoot camera that has been a trooper and been a great little camera but I was wanting more. Not feeling advanced enough to go with an SLR I got another point and shoot camera but with a bigger zoom, lower light capability, and more features on it than my old camera. I felt guilty this morning leaving my trusty little camera behind as I went out to play with my new toy. But as I explored with the zoom and practiced with the dials and the macro I soon forgot my guilt. There is so much to learn and the instructions are rather vague I guess they expect people to already know what they are doing when they buy the camera-but not me. I'll just have to keep practicing and you will all have to bare with me as I do so.
Good for you! you did not waste any time in a replacement!... your photos are lovely...and do not look like you didn't have enough instruction! just beautiful!
I had the same issue with my digital, it was like greek! i had to just play and find out what worked and these are stunning! thanks sooo much for spring shots!! our spring is barely starting and more snow on thurs!!!
oh how nice to meet you at art fest! I am shipping my luggage and art supplies, so that had to be fed exed out today, but feel disorganized too! what classes are you taking?
LOVE your photos. you have a WONDERFUL eye. i don.t know how to do much more with my camera than point and shoot as well. i did learn that i HATE the flash. if i can ever get a photo without it...im always much happier. please let me know next time you visit your mom in scottsdale. c
These are pretty amazing pics....they're so clear and I know it's hard to make pictures look good on blogger so they must be REALLY good! thanks for taking time to visit me!!
These pictures are lovely and have encouraged me to look at the instructions for the camera I got for my birthday last april, its still on automatic auto...
I live in the Calif. east bay area with my 2 dogs Lily and Penny and and My husband Bruce. When "playing" I journal, do mixed media art and spend weekends on our Airstream "Bambi .
Great photos, as always. Seems you take to the camera like a pro.
