It is going to be a hot lazy day in the Lilylovekin home this Sunday. I've already made my weekly trip down to the farmers market and at 9:30 am it was 90 degrees out with no wind. I am not complaining because our summer was a long time coming this year. Our house is older, built in the 1930s and does not have air conditioning, we are lucky though because it stays cool. I will work on a new project and I hope my ARF thrift store is open today-I saw some plates I should have bought the other day and didn't do it. I am always doing that, and having to go back for things. Tonight the beets will be made into a salad with goat cheese and walnuts. Last week the golden beets I bought were delicious, I hope these are as good. Hope you all have a lovely Sunday.
Lorrie, that salad sounds wonderful. Were those beets as good as the golden? Now I'm going to be dreaming of beets until the Farmers sell in Morro Bay on Thursday. Sure like the piece you did with the poem. xx julie
I live in the Calif. east bay area with my 2 dogs Lily and Penny and and My husband Bruce. When "playing" I journal, do mixed media art and spend weekends on our Airstream "Bambi .
Have a fantastic Sunday, Lorrie!!
