Today was a good day for me, but lately I've been blessed with good days. I've read some blogs that have left me thoughtful about loss and the preciousness of life. I've been working hard at staying in the "now" and living every moment as it comes. That means enjoying things around me and trying to be fully present for my loved ones. Somedays are easier than others. I love the poetry of Mary Oliver and will close with a portion of a poem that really seemed to speak to me. "Every day I see or I hear something that more or less kills me with delight, that leaves me like a needle in the haystack of light----."
